BOSTON - Drew and Carol Bolland knew what to expect this time. Travelling to Boston for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup final, they remembered what it was like when their son Dave and the Chicago Blackhawks won in 2010. Even Bollands wife Julia had a feeling it would happen again Monday night at TD Garden. She told everyone on the flight from Chicago her prediction. But none of them could have imagined it would happen this way: Bolland scoring the game-winner with just under a minute left, the second goal in 17 seconds to stun the Bruins. And while the 27-year-old winger from Toronto seemed too stunned amid the Cup celebration to revel in his hero status, Julia — six months pregnant — couldnt contain her emotions in the moment. "At first I didnt know that he scored," she said. "And then when I found out I started crying and fell to the ground. My mother-in-laws like, Get up, youre going to hurt the baby. It was crazy. It was so fast." Drew Bolland was worried too, but no harm was done. The Bollands beamed as they posed with the Cup. "Its like a dream," Drew Bolland said. "Its one thing winning the Stanley Cup back three years ago, but to come back here, you start thinking, Hey, itd be great if he won the Stanley Cup again. But to score the winning goal just blows your mind away." Bolland made one of the more thrilling endings in Cup final history sound routine. Bryan Bickell tied the score with 1:16 left, and defenceman Johnny Oduyas shot found its way to Bolland on the doorstep. "The puck went back to the D, he shot it," Bolland said. "All I knew was it was sitting in front of me, so I had to tap it in." Theres plenty of history between Bickell and Bolland, who played together in the Greater Toronto Hockey League from the ages of 12 to 15. "They were friends all through hockey, so that was unbelievable," Drew Bolland said. "A GTHL guy scores the tying goal, and David scores the winning goal." Bolland, almost stoically called it a "big feeling" to score the Cup-winning goal. "We all dream about scoring that Stanley Cup winner to hoist the Cup, so check that one off the bucket list," he said. In four years, Bolland will have his name on the Stanley Cup twice. A tattoo on his wrist marks the 2010 title, and hell get another for 2013 "somewhere." With Julia due to give birth to the couples first child in three months, the Bolland family has plenty to celebrate. They already know its a girl, and her name will be Lincoln. "Maybe Stanley," Carol-Ann joked. "Not for a girl," Julia said, still smiling. Thats not even necessary, as Bollands goal made for an unforgettable Stanley Cup story to tell his daughter one day. Jonah Williams Youth Jersey . But luckily for the Canadian squad, one goal was all it needed. Winnipegs Sophie Schmidt scored the winner off a Diana Matheson corner kick to seal Canadas third-place spot in the Torneio Internacional de Futebol Feminino in Brazil on Sunday. Boomer Esiason Womens Jersey . -- Wide receiver Sidney Rice should be fully recovered from a torn knee ligament by the time the Seattle Seahawks start defence of their Super Bowl title, general manager John Schneider said Wednesday. http://www.bengalsrookiestore.com/Bengals-Anthony-Munoz-Jersey/ . A judge had summoned Clemens and Brian McNamee to federal court in Brooklyn for settlement talks aimed at heading off a trial in the defamation case. McNamees lawyer emerged saying an agreement wasnt likely. "I think this is a case where the lines are deeply drawn in the sand," said attorney Richard Emery. Anthony Munoz Youth Jersey . Carcillo was a little of both for New York in Game 3. Derek Stepan, Martin St. Louis, Dan Girardi and Carcillo scored goals, leading the Rangers to a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night. Andy Dalton Bengals Jersey . Therrien would not confirm his lineup for the game, but he did have the same line combinations practicing together for the third straight day which is usually a pretty good indication of what the lineup will be.Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Craig Anderson made 31 saves, and the Ottawa Senators scored five unanswered goals to top the Arizona Coyotes, 5-1, on Saturday. After Mikkel Boedker put the Coyotes on top early in the game, Milan Michalek and Clarke MacArthur scored first-period goals to give the Senators the lead. Ottawa also got goals from Mike Hoffman, Cody Ceci and David Legwand to end its three-game losing streak. We finally got rewarded for our effort, Senators head coach Dave Cameron said. It feels good. Mike Smith allowed all five Senators goals on 33 shots as the Coyotes lost for the second time in three games. Having failed on 28 straight attempts on the power play entering the game, the Senators converted on their first chance to tie it after Boedkers goal 4 1/2 minutes into the contest. After Erik Karlssons slap shot rang off the post, Smith could not cover up a puck loose in the crease. Michalek was eventually able to shoot it by the down-and-out Smith. Real frustrating, said Coyotes coach Dave Tippett. I thought we started the game alright. Got a lead, take a really poor penalty. Really poor penalty. Just six minutes later, MacArthur took advantage of another loose puck in the crease. Kyle Turris wraparound attempt caromed off Smith and Chris Summers, and MacArthur was right on the doorstep at the opposite post to jam the loose puck home.dddddddddddd In the second period, the Senators took a two-goal lead. Hoffman received Mika Zibanejads cross-crease pass after an Arizona turnover in its own end, and Smith could not move left-to-right fast enough to make the save. Ottawa converted another power-play chance in the third period to put the game away. Karlssons cross-ice pass found Ceci jumping into the play from the blue line, and he ripped it by Smith to go up three goals. With seven seconds left, Legwand stripped the puck from Boedker and shot through Smiths five-hole to complete the rout. Game Notes Ottawas Bobby Ryan and Hoffman and Arizonas Oliver Ekman-Larsson will participate in All-Star festivities in Columbus later this month ... The Stone brothers, Michael on Arizona and Mark on Ottawa, compete against each other in the NHL for the first time ... Had Arizonas Zbynek Michalek had played, it would have been the first time two unrelated sets of brothers competed against each other since Dec. 23, 1983 when St. Louis Wayne Babych and Joe Mullen skated against Winnipegs Dave Babych and Brian Mullen.
